Explore Our Dog Training Services

Whether your dog needs a more immersive training experience or your needs are better suited for a group class setting, we are able to point you in the right direction. Our current offerings are listed further below.

If you would like to work with us, your training journey begins with phone call with us, free-of-charge. It is important for us to make sure you will be a good fit for us and that our goals align in all aspects of dog training. After our phone call, we will then ask to set up a trial day with your dog here at our facility. Trial days are mandatory and are a necessary step to complete. We want to understand your dog on a deeper level, and spending the day with them is a perfect way to accomplish this task. Trial days are held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

All dogs who enter our facility must be fully up-to-date on their vaccinations and must provide proof of their vacination status. Full vaccination status incldues DHPP/DAPP, Rabies, and Bordatella. Due to the high number of tick cases in the state, we are also requiring all dogs to be on a flea and tick preventative.

Board & Train / Day Training Programs

This option is best suited for owners and dogs who need an immersive training experience to reach their goals if group classes are incompatible due to behavioral issues, human-to-dog communication issues, if you are feeling lost, overwhelmed or disconnected from your dog, or a simple matter of convenience, a board & train or day training program might be best for you. We currently offer the following options for our immersive programs:

  • E-Collar Communication offers teaching off-leash recall using the e-collar as well as providing a solid sit stay and the place command. This option is perfect for dogs who struggle with prey drive, impulse control, or generally have a lack of follow-through when listening to their owner. The added benefit of teaching a sit stay and place allows for owners to manage their dog when off-leash. Our approach to e-collar training consists of patient and gentle conditioning of the tool to ensure that your dog understands every step of the training process, from the first steps of tool introduction to the final step of off-leash application out in the wild.
  • Dog-To-Dog Socialization is suited for dogs who lack confidence, structure, or harbor worry when it comes to encountering dogs in the everyday world. This program establishes social skills in your dog so that they may possess grace and stoicism when interacting with other dogs. By offering highly monitored and controlled interactions with verified dog-safe dogs, this program helps socially struggling dogs come back to a more balanced and confident way of socializing. This program is highly objective, reflecting that what your individual dog needs in terms of support will be unique to your dog. This program relies on structure after the dog completes their initial training, including owner support, owner feedback, and attending Back-To-Pack for maintenance and Pack Walks if applicable.

  • E-Collar Recall Training $2450
  • Dog-To-Dog Socialization $2250

Our Board & Train and Day Training programs are offered over a minimum of two-weeks (12 days and 10 days respectively) to ensure we have ample time to spend with your dog to guarantee they are learning appropriately at their own speed.

Our Day Training program allows for your dog to come home with you everyday and has you keep your dog over the weekend. Drop-off occurs Monday - Friday between 8-9am and pick up occurs between 5-6pm.

Leash Walking Group Class

This class specifically focuses on developing advanced loose-leash walking skills with an additional focus on handling and how to approach public access skills. Public access refers to the ability of a dog to be calm, collected, and under control when out and about in public with everyday distractions. Walking tools will be provided to you at no additional charge to the price of the class. This class is open to reactive and non-confident dogs, and we strongly encourage their participation on a case-by-case basis. Please note that there is NO direct dog socialization in this class. This is a class specifically designed to take leash walking seriously, with our common goal of having the dogs look and act as professionally as possible. Obtaining a high level of public access requires the dogs to be able to tolerate all distractions around them - including our classmates and their handlers. Class sizes are small insuring everyone gets the attention to detail they deserve. Upon graduation from this class, you will be credited with one free Pack Walk which serves as a tune-up after the group class comes to an end.

  • This class is hosted weekly for it's 5-week duration and is partially held at our training facility. Within this five-week series, the first three classes will be held at our training facility, and the last two classes will be held off-site in Belgrade & Bozeman to apply the skills taught in the real world. Each session is 1-hour long. This class is open to dogs 6 months or older. $425

Pack Walks

Pack Walks are drop-in group leash walking sessions for all of our leash walking clients that have completed a leash walking program with us. During our pack walks, we practice all the skills taught from your training program around dog distractions and environmental distractions. These sessions are designed to serve as a way to continue performing your leash skills around other clients and their dogs. Our trainers in attendance will be able to help you with your dog if needed. We practice leash walking drills as well as basic obedience drills. Pack Walks range in size and there is ample opportunity to expose your dog to new dogs as pack walks are drop-in based, meaning you'll always be meeting someone new. This helps keep the distractions fresh by allowing us to introduce new faces to the pack. Each Pack Walk runs for 45-60 minutes depending on the weather and is $25.

  • Pack Walks are hosted every other week on the following days/times:
  • Thursdays at 6:30pm

Back-To-Pack Social Program

Back-To-Pack is a highly controlled and monitored social program for dogs that may be harboring trauma from being bullied or attacked, or have experienced a change in personality due to previous encounters with aggressive or reactive dogs. Back-To-Pack is also offered to dogs who are introverted, sensitive, worried, or lack confidence when it comes to sharing space with other dogs. By controlling the flow of movement and space the dogs will be socializing in, this program can build stoicism, confidence, subtlety, and grace into your dog's social toolbelt over time. For the dogs who may have had a poor experience with other dogs and have shown signs that their social behavior has changed or are at risk of changing, Back-To-Pack will provide a safe and highly controlled environment with well-balanced dogs to help your dog recover from their past experiences and rebalance their social skills, their trust, and their behavior around other like-minded dogs.

  • Back-To-Pack is held on Thursdays and costs $60 for the day. Drop-off occurs between 8-9am and pick up occurs between 5-6pm. Back-To-Pack is also offered as a more intensive program such as a board & train or day training.
